Slide title checker

Paste your deck's slide titles. See which ones state a conclusion and which only name a topic.

Numbering like “1.” or “Slide 3:” is ignored. Up to 80 titles.

Paste your titles to see which ones state a conclusion.

Runs in your browser. Your titles are kept only on this device.

Why slide titles matter so much

Judges read your titles first, and often only your titles. A title like “Market overview” tells them what the slide is about. A title like “Tier-2 cities drive 60% of new orders” tells them what you found. Read only the titles of a strong deck and you get the whole argument.

What the checker looks for

  • Conclusion or topic: does the title make a claim (with a verb like “is”, “drives”, “cuts”, “will”), or just name a section?
  • Length: 15 words or fewer, so it reads in about 3 seconds.
  • Specifics: vague words like “key” or “various”, and claims that would be sharper with a number.
  • The storyline: whether your first content slide gives your answer, and whether two slides say the same thing.

Agenda, appendix and thank-you slides are fine as labels, so they aren't scored.

Questions

Does it use AI?

No. It follows clear writing rules used in consulting decks, so it answers instantly and nothing leaves your browser. It can miss unusual phrasing, so treat it as a second pair of eyes.

Should every title be a full sentence?

Every content slide's title should state its takeaway. It doesn't need to be long: “Price isn't the problem; trust is” works well.

Is my deck saved?

Only in your own browser, so your titles are still there next time. Nothing is sent to golash.
